[from the ABOUT section of The Impossible Project’s website]

“In October 2008 The Impossible Project saved the last Polaroid production plant for integral instant film in Enschede (Netherlands) and started to invent and produce totally new instant film materials for traditional Polaroid cameras. In 2010 Impossible saved analog instant photography from extinction by releasing various, brand new and unique instant films.  Therewith Impossible prevents more than 300.000.000 perfectly functioning Polaroid cameras from becoming obsolete, changes the world of photography and keeps variety, tangibility and analogue creativity and possibilites alive.”

Rad.

So we’ve teamed up with this incredible company for our most recent tour with Delta Spirit as a way to give fans a unique opportunity to walk away with a truly one-of-a-kind piece of memorabilia from the tour. It also serves as a simple fundraising tool for our programs in Central Africa. Win win? I’d say so. Check out a few of the prints below…

And if there is a Polaroid camera without a soul laying around your house and you don’t know where to get proper film, I know just the place. Follow Impossible on Twitter, Facebook, Blog, AND Instagram (Username: ImpossibleProject) for updates on their project.

Thanks to the Impossible team for donating the film and the cameras – making this project possible.
