Our generous supporters never cease to amaze us. We’re inspired. You should be, too.

In Fall 2011 we challenged our supporters to reach for the impossible: Raise $2 million for our Protection Plan in just 4 short months. Their enormous efforts raised $1.7 million through our Frontline Tour, with donations going directly to the Early Warning Radio network, LRA Crisis Tracker, and rehabilitation center in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. As a thank you for the unbelievable donations, we gave away 16 trips to Uganda to our top fundraisers. After much anticipation, and a long wait, our Frontline Tour trip winners met at our San Diego offices last week before taking off for 2 weeks. Ranging in age from 17 to 23 and collectively raising over $200,000, this awesome group went through a whirlwind of preparations. With only one day at our San Diego headquarters, the winners had an office tour, trainings on local customs in Uganda and the history of the conflict, and a Q&A session with Movement Director Zach Barrows. During the trip these dedicated supporters will visit the IC Uganda headquarters, Mend, and local partner schools. It is truly a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for these inspirational young people to see exactly how their hard work is benefiting communities in Uganda, and we cannot wait to hear how this trip will impact them.
