Going to concerts is fun, no doubt. Seeing two great bands for free, now that’s an awesome show.
Dirty Projectors and Wye Oak, a combo that can’t be beat, will be playing this Friday and you’re all invited. At approx. 9:15 PM ET, NPR will broadcast their show live from Washington D.C.’s 9:30 Club. And you can see it from your computer screen.
With a decade-long existence on the road, Dirty Projectors headlines the show and takes the stage around 10:30 PM. But make sure to check in on time. Wye Oak, a Baltimore-based band, is made up of Andy Stack and Jenn Wasner. The pair makes up a drum/guitar or keyboard combo. And like the Black Keys and Matt and Kim, they take the stage and are a power house.
