Monday marked the start of the new school term in Uganda. We think this is a perfect time to remember that 100 percent of the women at Mend are paying for their children’s school fees with the income that they are making as seamstresses at Mend. We celebrated the start of last term with the seamstresses and their families at a Back to School party hosted at the Mend workshop and wish the students best of luck in the coming term!
