Community members in Omot sub-county in northern Uganda look over the most recent issue of “Invisible Voice.” Last year, Invisible Children’s regional office in Kampala began producing a newsletter that is shared as a newspaper insert and distributed across the region. The hope is that community members will better understand Invisible Children’s recovery and protection programs, especially programs that encourage the peaceful surrender of individuals still held captive by the Lord’s Resistance Army.

Okello Christopher (pictured in the background), a driver for Invisible Children Uganda, translated the publication from English to Luo for a group of people that gathered to record Come Home Messages and to share stories of their experiences during the war.
