Our online store just got a little fresher, and we’re excited to sport these handmade styles as the fall season rolls in. The fall interns couldn’t resist putting on a little photo shoot to model our newest accessories: Handmade necklaces. Braided and printed headbands. And a bold pair of elephant shorts. We’re slightly obsessed.

Stories behind these new products:

All four necklaces styles were designed and handmade by the mother of our beloved friend Collines, a Legacy Scholarship graduate and inspiring world-changer. Her mother is a widow with six children, who built up her own business by crafting handmade paper beads and selling to the US market. She’s formed her own dream team, inviting several other Ugandan women to join her and use their profits to establish a community school. We’re stoked to be partnering with her.

Another exciting partnership –  four adorable new headbands styles come to us from Remnant Internationalan awesome nonprofit organization that’s empowering abused and neglected women in northern Uganda through the trades of screen printing and sewing.

And if your wardrobe is ready for a fun and unique spin, get your hands on these new elephant shorts, also from Remnant International. These might be our favorite of the bunch, and they’re a must-have for all our fellow elephant enthusiasts. They’re bold, a great conversation-starter, and easy to pair with a simple tee.
