Here’s why: last week, we asked you to email your members of Congress and urge them to help stop Joseph Kony’s violence by cosponsoring the LRA Resolution. Thousands of you raised your voices. We were unbelievably encouraged, but honestly, we weren’t surprised. We know how committed you are to stopping Kony’s violence — and that you love a good challenge.

That’s why we’re coming to you with another important assignment: to call your members of Congress TODAY.

Yes, we know. Getting on the phone with a Congressional office can sound intimidating, but we promise that it’s so easy. To prove it, we filmed our beloved Director of Supporter Engagement, Ananda Robie, when she called her very own representative:

STEP 1: Go to advocacy.invisiblechildren.com

STEP 2: Type in your zip code to find your three members of Congress. Then click on the ‘CALL’ button to get your representative’s phone number and a sample script.

STEP 3: Make your call!

STEP 4: Take three seconds to click HERE and let us know that you called so we can celebrate with you.

Lather. Rinse. Repeat until you’ve called both of your Senators and your Representative.
We need each member of Congress to receive at least 15 phone calls. Help make that happen by committing to make your calls, and then ask five of your friends and family members to do the same. (Maybe send them this blog with a little personal note. Wink wink.)
