Faves on faves with this post. Nashville’s Wild Cub have become fast favorites over the past year. It started with Artist Relations Music Manager Alex Collins being all, “Hey, guys, have you heard of this band from Nashville?” We were all, “Another band from Nashville, Alex? Are they good?”
And they were because they were Wild Cub. We began a torrid love affair with them, initially through Twitter, then through actual in-person convos. It was all solidified when they performed at our 2012 SXSW Welcome Home Show. Watch a clip we did with them by TERROREYES [HERE].
They just finished a string of sold-out shows in New York City that we were insanely jealous we didn’t get to attend. Props for that, gentlemen.
Cut to today, when we woke up to a few tweets about a remix from Samuel, who happens to be another artist we’re heavily crushing on. He’s a super talented musician from New York City who first appeared on our mind radar with his enchanting ode to his hometown “I Heart NY.” He’s worked with other faves Alex Winston and The Knocks. Essentially, he’s great, and he uses his propensity for greatness on this remix of Wild Cub’s recent single.
