A couple weeks ago, Invisible Children hosted a special evening with The Kabbs, Rare Times and Wild Cub. To put it simply, it was an unforgettable night. Wild Cub played our SXSW showcase this past spring, and we were so excited to see them take the stage for us again.
It was a family affair with our very own graphic designer Brian on lead vocals for The Kabbs. It is always inspiring to see people you work with use their talents in different ways. I think it is safe to say that we were all blown away by their set. When Rare Times took the stage everyone was equally impressed.
Wild Cub killed it, per usual. They are by far one of my favorite bands to see live. Between vocalist Keegan Dewitt’s classic dance moves, pounding drums and overall vibe on stage, there wasn’t a still body in the house. Every person in the room was hooked by their contagious energy on stage which left us all with a show “high” that literally cannot be described. We heard old favorites and got a taste of some new music, which only makes us want the new album more. In the mean time, we will just continue to relive the night.
