Some people love Valentines Day. Some people hate it. Some people have no formative opinion on it (however, I would argue that they probably verge on hating it as well). Whether you like it or not, it exists. It happens every year. And there are probably a lot of loved people in your life who would truly appreciate a gift from you.

That being said, here at Invisible Children, we’re romantics. Just yesterday, I took myself on a date to Starbucks. Every morning, I hear our web team listening to 90’s R&B love songs. And last week, Ben Keesey was wearing a pink tie. So if there’s anyone’s advice you want to take on Valentine’s Day gifts, trust me, it’s us.

So, here are a few of our favorite products with a purpose. 100% of the proceeds from our online store fund Invisible Children’s mission of civilian protection and rehabilitation of children abducted by the LRA. Our protection and recovery programs focus on the futures of war-affected youth while our worldwide advocacy aims to establish long-term peace and prosperity.

1. The Mend Mini Messenger Bag

Perfect for that stylish and professional significant other, friend or family member in your life. This handcrafted bag made in northern Uganda is the “on-the-go” version of our popular Messenger Bag. Lightweight, compact, and designed to fit a 15″ laptop with additional pockets and room for your other essentials. And to top it all off, this bag is a part of Mend: a line by Invisible Children to empower women who were directly affected by the LRA conflict.

2. Light the Night Pullover

Nothing says “I love you” like keeping someone warm. This stylish and soft gray hoodie is a wonderful addition to that special someone in your life’s closet (note: that special person could be your mom). This pullover is printed on a premium cotton blank from Alternative Apparel, so you know it’s good.

3.  Mens Custom Adibos

Oliberte shoes are great for long distance relationships. They’ve traveled 9,148 miles from Ethiopia to show you they’re as dedicated to your feet as you are to feeling obligated to buying a gift for your guy on Valentines Day. The Adibo combines style with durable, lasting comfort. Each shoe is created with the goal of contributing to the development of a thriving middle class in Africa. Curated by Invisible Children in partnership with Oliberte: This is Africa.

4. Gold Bracelet

This wouldn’t be a complete Valentine’s Day gift list without a traditional gift– jewelry. Show your girl that you think she’s solid. Or at least 22k gold plated. Crafted in Tanzania, the gold bracelet is a collection of organic strands twisted together to bring an artful elegance to the traditional reed bracelet pattern.
