Here’s the deal. The Invisible Children Music team is comprised of Hannah Steele, Kenny Laubbacher, Alex Naser-Hall, Alex Collins, and Lauren Edwards. Apart from Alex Collins, we are all single.

Today is a reminder of this fact.

February 14th, in addition to being a gross commercialization and commodification of the fabrication that is “love,” is, as you will see all over every bitter person’s web presence today, Single Awareness Day.

To celebrate this day, and keeping in theme with last year’s Ryantine’s Day mix, we are dropping its follow-up – an earnest declaration, Hey, girl. I know you’re alone, so I made you a mix. is our soul speaking directly to all of you without a date tonight. If you’re pining for someone, happily single, or just a huge Sade fan, we’ve got you covered.

Collectively, let’s listen to sad songs about how shamefully alone we all are and revel in the fact that tonight, instead of needing to impress anyone we might not even really like but feel pressured by society to be out and about with, we can eat ravioli in bed, watch Revenge, and go to bed at 9.

Except Alex Collins. He’s skiing with his beautiful girlfriend in the mountains. Cool.

Launch the mix on Spotify [HERE].
