We wrote about the Rock for Justice compilation Songs for Justice a couple weeks ago when we premiered a (great) track from Generationals. With the pre-order for the record officially open, however, it bears repeating.
Rock for Justice is a non-profit that uses art to speak about and facilitate global justice programs. They’ve been long-time Invisible Children supporters, and we are entirely behind their organization.
Over a year ago, they began a project recruiting artists to record covers for a compilation album to benefit several different social justice organizations including Invisible Children (that’s us), the Give a Damn? documentary project, and The Hunger Project. We couldn’t be more thankful because 1) It’s just a great project and group to be involved with and 2) The record is fantastic.
