We’ll be honest – this is a double promotion. 1) We are very pleased to be able to partner with Blindfold Magazine for this summer’s Fourth Estate Summit as part of the Common Good Exchange. 2) We have a feature in the latest issue of the magazine about Invisible Children that we would love for you to read.
Blindfold unites audience interests in different fields while showing that it is possible to be socially and environmentally aware without compromising beauty and soul. Through pictures and words, Blindfold looks to inspire their readers to take off the proverbial blindfold.
They reached out to us about writing an article on what it’s like to work at Invisible Children for their magazine. Generally a difficult thing to do, we agreed and I began putting together a piece that I hope gives justice to the dedication of the hundreds of people who have worked at Invisible Children.
The article can be found in their Generation-Y issue, out now and on newsstands at Whole Foods. Pick it up next time you go to juice or buy kale chips.
Make it a priority to meet the people behind the socially conscious current events magazine at the Common Good Exchange in August.
Think people should hear about this?
