To everyone who strategized to get their money matched, we commend you. There will be more matching campaigns to come. See the current leaderboard for the next #zeroLRA trip to Uganda on our blog here.
THIS IS A BIG DEAL:
Starting today (Monday, November 11) at 9 AM PST/noon EST, we will be having the first $10,000 matching campaign for #zeroLRA. That means donations made to #zeroLRA will be doubled thanks to a generous donation from ABAR Foundation. (For real, HUGE thanks to ABAR Foundation for their commitment to the cause). That means anything put to your page or to the general #zeroLRA donation page will be automatically matched – which is VERY noteworthy if you are attempting to win a trip to Uganda as part of our two-week competitions. (See the current leaderboard and determine what you need to do to get on it.)
The money will be matched either until it runs out or when the clock strikes 11:59 PM PST – whichever comes first. Fundraising Pro Tip: Historically in Invisible Children matching campaigns, the money goes quickly. Prepare and remind yourself what you’re fundraising for.
Happy strategizing.
