You know Black Friday, and by now you’ve probably heard of Cyber Monday… but have you ever heard of #GivingTuesday? If not, no worries! We’ll fill you in:
While Black Friday and Cyber Monday are dedicated to shopping, either for holiday gifts or simply excellent deals, #GivingTuesday is dedicated to the celebration of giving back to our world and communities. After giving thanks on Thanksgiving, it’s a reminder that we must give back and contribute to our world in order to make it a better place.
Want to participate? You can! This #GivingTuesday is coming up in just one week and we want you to celebrate with us. This year, we’re raising $10,000 on #GivingTuesday to support the work and innovative ideas of local changemakers in central Africa who are working toward peace in their communities. We want you to be a part of helping us reach that goal!

From Father Mark and the Inter-Church Commission, who have developed a trauma-healing toolkit, to Father Ernest and his work with Community Defection Committees, and more, our partners on the ground have been innovating and working hard to protect and improve their communities.
These local leaders are the key to unlocking solutions for peace in central Africa. We want you to join us in continuing to support their innovative initiatives. So stand with us, and with leaders like Father Mark and Father Ernest who are helping make their communities, and communities across central Africa safe.
