From left to right: Charlotte Stazdus, Joanna Matheson and Hayleigh Howe
My name is Charlotte Strazdus and I am from Newark, Delaware. I am the oldest of 8 kids and I love to ride my horse, Bennie, when I’m not working or in school. I first learned about Invisible Children through one of my favorite bands, The Rocket Summer, when I was 15 years old. I’ve been in love with the work IC is doing ever since that night, and I am so happy to be interning in the Development department!
My name is Joanna Matheson. I’m 24 years old and I’m from New Zealand. I found out about Invisible Children a number of years ago and really got connected during the 2009 Rescue campaign. I am really passionate about sustainable and empowering development, and I love the programs that IC is able to implement because of your support. I look forward to speaking with you!
My name is Hayleigh Howe. I am from Wichita, Kansas–a born-and-raised KU Jayhawk fan! I am currently working towards my degree in Social Work at the University of Kansas. I am a lover of camping, white water rafting, hiking and anything adventurous. I first heard about Invisible Children from a friend five years ago. I attended my first screening in the spring of 2010 and hosted the Middle America Roadie Team last fall. I am drawn to Invisible Children because of its passion for change in the world and the overabundant amount of love around the office!
