Call your Senators

Thank you so much for taking a minute to contact your Senators.
We can’t emphasize enough the difference that your phone calls can make.

Here’s all you have to do:

1. Find you senators’ names and phone numbers below — they are listed by state.
2. Call both of your senators’ offices and leave a message with the front desk, asking that your senator cosponsor bill number S.2318. Look at the graph below to see if they’ve already signed it so you can call and thank them.

Here’s a sample script of what to say:

“Hi my name is ______________ and I’m a constituent of Senator ____________ who cares a lot about seeing an end to the violence of the Lord’s Resistance Army, or LRA, in central Africa. There is a bill in the Senate right now, introduced by Senators John Kerry and John Boozman, that could strengthen efforts to help find and arrest top leaders in the LRA. I’m calling to ask Senator _____________ to cosponsor that bill (number S. 2318). Thank you so much. My zip code is _____________”
