Pack it up, pack it in

And just like that, we have an empty nest. The 20 Roadie teams have officially hit the road to screen our new film through-out North America. After six weeks of intensive training on the ins & outs of Invisible Children and the LRA conflict, hours upon hours upon hours of booking venues, and countless days of bonding with their four person teams, they are now on their own and headed into the great unknown for the ultimate road trip. Vans on vans on vans.

Per tradition, the IC staff gathered with the Roadies at Mt. Soledad in San Diego on the morning of the launch. After some speeches, hugging, bagels, and a lot of happy tears, we sent them off on a wish and a prayer.

They are currently on their way to a gazillion cities. We are honored they’re at the forefront of our movement. Godspeed, dear friends.
