We appreciate artists. They’re innovative & imaginative & creative. When I saw Video Painting Europe, it encompassed all that and more. Created by artists Blake Shaw (who was studying New Media Art at Bennington College when he first came up with the brilliant idea of video painting) and Bruno Levy (born in Paris and completed a BFA in Photography at Tisch School of the Arts NYU in 2001), they later formed SWEATSHOPPE and took their strengths, blended them together, and fabricated something totally brilliant and new to the art world. They have done murals in European cities such as Paris, London, and Belgrade over all types of architecture including the Berlin Wall (no biggie). The below video dives right into their work, not to mention it won a Vimeo award for the Captured Category for documenting an artistic work.
