The band OneRepublic has teamed up with Ad Council and Save The Children to record a song based off the heartbeats of children in Malawi and Guatemala for a campaign called Every Beat Matters. They used heartbeats, people. Actual heartbeats.
Using a specialized stethoscope connected to an iPhone (technology today!), the data was then sent to OneRepublic. Most of the children had heartbeats of between 130-140 bpm, and from a musical perspective, it’s the perfect tempo. What transpired was a heartfelt single (pun intended) called “Feel Again.”
You can download the song, and all sales benefit the Every Beat Matters campaign and help frontline health workers bring hope to millions of children around the world.
