Invisible Children supported a new school in Dungu this month with tools and equipment, giving students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a variety of trades. Dungu has been hit hard by the affects of the Lord’s Resistance Army (LRA) and has a large population of displaced people, placing an intense strain on already underdeveloped communities. This new school in Dungu, started by our friend and partner Mboligihe Ndalu, offers primary and secondary education as well as vocational training. They aim to provide students with skills and knowledge, equipping them to succeed in difficult circumstances, which have been compounded by LRA violence. Here is a letter Rev. Mboligihe Ndalu wrote to the Invisible Children community. It is addressed to our amazing Project Coordinator, Sarah Katz-Lavigne.

Dear Sarah,

RE: THANK YOU

I am writing this e-mail to thank both you personally and Invisible
Children DRC for your financial support to our school, Complexe
Scolaire Pépinière de Dieu. The amount you have donated to
our school has helped us purchase all the tools we need not only to
begin our masonry and carpentry vocational training this school year

2012-2013, but I believe those tools will help our students for their
practices for the whole program for many years. So, I sincerely thank
you wholeheartedly for your generous donation. May God bless you and
your organization!

Gratefully with best regards!

Rev. Mboligihe Ndalu
