Horlick High School is officially on the MOVE.
After our Midwest Roadies visited the Racine, Wisconsin school to screen our new film, the students got so pumped about MOVE:DC that the principal helped to arrange an overnight field trip to Washington DC for the November 17th event.
The 56-passenger deluxe motor coach has been chartered, the hotel booked, the KONY 2012 T-shirts purchased, and the teachers & parents & principal signed on to chaperone. These students have rallied and punched preparation in the face.
Our Roadies absolutely loved visiting the school and said, “Horlick High School was amazing. The combination of excited students and supportive administration made for such an inspirational day. People were aware of IC and ready to fight for us and were more than willing to figure out how to get the school to DC.”
Senior Allison Dikanovic is the method behind the madness. Along with other stellar students, the Horlick HS IC Club started the buzz about MOVE:DC in the halls of their school and watched it spread to dozens of people signing up to take part.
And the fact that the principal is so involved makes us almost want to go back to high school so she can be our principal. Almost.
