From everyone here at Invisible Children, we’d like to applaud the team at Pencils of Promise.
Here’s a little note that PoP’s founder Adam Braun posted on Facebook earlier this week:
Pencils of Promise came about after its founder Adam Braun handed a pencil to a young boy. Embarking on a backpacking trip across 50 countries where he also handed out pencils, he saw a need for a international non-profit that addressed education worldwide. Using local people and on the ground staff across several developing countries, PoP and its supporters have partnered in building 75 schools with breaking ground on its 100th.
Think people should hear about this?
