Hello, 2013.
We’re a week in and chances are your resolutions are already being modified and/or broken. Fear not – you’re not alone. My goal of thrice weekly trips to the gym has already been unsuccessful and don’t even talk to me about how my rule of no caffeine after 1:00PM is working out.
While January is typically full of setting well-intentioned goals, what if we set lofty ideals that were attainable and didn’t set us up for failure? What if we set dreams instead of resolutions? You can’t break a dream.
American Dreamers recently compiled 56 dreams for the new year from people who thought outside of the box. Optimists who had intentions that went beyond outlawing dairy or swearing off dysfunctional relationships. I think the thought of looking at the bigger picture is refreshing and full of promise. Check out the poster below (compliments of GOOD magazine) and be enlightened to the possibilities of 2013.
