Rabbit, rabbit. New month, new mix.
Invisible Children Music has a collection of new tunes each week for your streaming needs. Listen to all of our mixes on our SoundCloud [HERE] and start to support the artists you’re feeling.
01. MS MR – “Hurricane” (CHVRCHES Remix) :: Our love for MS MR and CHVRCHES is evident now, so this new remix of MS MR’s next single has us all colors of intrigued. It’s a huge 80s jam that went OFF at a party over the weekend. Solid work to all entities involved.
02. MISS LAURYN HILL – “Neurotic Society” (Compulsory Remix) :: Essentially, Miss Lauryn Hill has to create some new tracks to avoid legal issues. Thus, this song. Whether it is “compulsory” or not, the song is huge. It’s a totally different soundscape for her, and it sounds good. No one has lyrics like this woman. It’s good to have her back.
03. AUSTRA – “Home” :: So sad and so real. The love for Austra is rapidly spreading.
04. NAUGHTY BOY + SAM SMITH – “La La La” :: Sam Smith is having multiple moments this year. His recent effort, a feature on this track by Naughty Boy, continues his dominance on the “sounds of 90s R&B” game.
05. ANGEL HAZE – “Elements” :: My love for Angel Haze is ever-growing for many reasons – the main one being her honest lyrics, very on-display in this new track. Be aware, as this is rap, there are some swear words thrown in.
06. NIGHT PANTHER – “All For Love” :: Every song Night Panther releases eventually ends up on our mixtapes – they’re that good. Not to mention, they’re the coolest people from Pennsylvania we know. Lead singer Farzad’s vocals reach altitudes uncharted on this cut.
07. MYSTERY JETS – “Lost In Austin” (Live) :: I couldn’t help but include this song. My favorite band just released a live record taken from a show in London a few months back. This live take on their album (honestly, career) highlight “Lost In Austin” is beyond incredible.
