This August, Invisible Children is proud to partner with more than 40 organizations for the Common Good Exchange. This unique event will take place during the Fourth Estate Leadership Summit in Los Angeles and will be an incredible opportunity for participants to engage with some of the top brands in the non-profit industry, learn about various causes, and discover ways to get involved.
Our friends at Liberty in North Korea (LiNK) will be among the organizations attending. LiNK is dedicated to the North Korean human rights and humanitarian crises. Thousands of North Koreans have fled the country because of political and religious persecution, and the denial of basic human rights. LiNK works vigorously to provide protection and aid to these refugees hiding in China.
In addition to it’s protection efforts, LiNK works to raise awareness about the issue and shift perception away from the political struggles of the country and towards the persecution of its people. They do this through a national tour, modeled after our own, in which they visit schools across the country.
