No time to waste this week. Here are nine sounds of brilliance to soundtrack your second week of May.

Launch the mix on Soundcloud [HERE] or click below:

01. TRULS – “Out of Yourself” :: My love for pop falsetto is rampant, especially in the summer. This track is massive.

02. SUVI – “Bleeding For Your Love” :: This is such a dark little jam. It’s both infectious and haunting, which is a rare combo.

03. JOHN NEWMAN – “Love Me Again” :: The vocalist behind some of the hugest songs from Rudimental has released his first official solo single, and it’s this gloriously brassy number. His vocals are on some Plan B-ish levels that are very impressive.

04. CHRIS MALINCHAK – “So Good To Me” :: Listened to this song NUMEROUS times this weekend. It is so subtle and so summer.

05. KATE BOY – “The Way We Are” :: Quite into The Knife meets Icona Pop vibes from this new track from Stockholm’s Kate Boy.

06. MARIAH CAREY + MIGUEL – “#Beautiful” :: I shouldn’t love a song that has a hashtag in the title, but with Miguel at the helm of yet another “comeback single” for Miss Mariah Carey, it only makes sense that I’m as obsessed as I am. I think Miguel could be a genius.

07. BANKS – “Warm Water” :: LA’s Banks has this sultry driving pop game on lock. This brand new track is produced by Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs. Our next goth dinner party we throw, we’re leaving this on repeat on the Victrola.

08. DIRTY PROJECTORS – “The Socialites” (AlunaGeorge Rework) :: England’s AlunaGeorge did a little number on this track from Dirty Projectors. As everything AlunaGeorge produces is, “The Socialites” is left-field dance gold.

09. BENIN CITY – “Faithless” :: Benin City is the strangest band emerging currently, and I can’t not follow absolutely everything they do. There’s brass, massive melodies, and rapping. They could be the most interesting group in music right now.
