Our friends at Shot@Life are setting out to change that by implementing global vaccination programs that can stop the 1.5 million unnecessary deaths that happen every year.
They work with partners who have a proven track record in vaccine advocacy in the U.S. and abroad and their work has already contributed to a 99 percent reduction in polio, a 74 percent reduction in measles-related deaths, and the introduction of vaccines for the two most deadly childhood diseases, pneumonia and diarrhea. By scaling-up the delivery of vaccines, they are helping to save children’s lives and also save billions of dollars through reduced treatment costs and gains in productivity.
