As Friday nears, the highly anticipated day when tickets are released for this year’s Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, we’d like to note a few key names in the lineup who have used their platform to further the story and work of Invisible Children: The Glitch Mob, Anthony Green, Wye Oak, and Skrillex. And for that, we thank you.

If you’ve never experience live music in a festival-style-format in the desert of California before, then we recommend putting this on your bucket list today, and then crossing it off in April. And whether you’re an admiring fan or conscientious objector of the hype of this particular music festival, we can all agree that it does serve its purpose well: highlighting great musical talents from around the world, while simultaneously encouraging a mass of people to enjoy something together outside.
