Michael currently serves as Executive Director of the Center for Action and Contemplation, which seeks the transformation of consciousness through teaching and practice rooted in the Christian contemplative tradition. A graduate of Notre Dame, Michael previously co-founded The Resolve, a research and advocacy organization working to help communities affected by the LRA. He co-directed the development of the LRA Crisis Tracker and has testified before the US Congress and UN Security Council about the LRA conflict. He has been an independent voting member of Invisible Children’s Board of Directors since 2015.
