Rock for Justice is a non-profit organization that works to combine social justice and art to create positive change. By that, we are obviously large supporters.
For over a year now, the organization has been working on a compilation album to benefit a variety of social justice and poverty organizations – and Invisible Children has been chosen as one of the beneficiaries of the proceeds. THANK YOU, Rock for Justice.
They recruited a slew of insanely talented artists to cover other (insanely talented) artists, and the compilation is up for pre-order on the 17th of this month. (We’ll be reminding everyone to do so closer to the date, no worries)
Today, we have the pleasure of debuting one of the tracks taken from the album – a cover of Van Morrison’s “Here Comes The Night” by Generationals, a band we’re all very into here at Invisible Children Music.
