Le Wrens are just what we need right now. The group out of Washington is made up of Elizabeth, Jonathan, and Abigail Gundersen, Kale Lotton, and Michael Porter. They’re a relatively newer band, preparing to release their debut EP this May.
The surname of the majority of the group should be familiar to 1) music fans 2) followers of Invisible Children Music. Their brother Noah is a huge name in this office, and we were lucky enough to record a video with him and some of his siblings (and members of Le Wrens) at SXSW earlier this year.
The debut track and video is so quaint and endearing that we’re already fully bought in. The clip shows the friends roaming the woods, eating dinner, taking photos – things people who like each other naturally do. It’s great.
