It is a big week for music. Tons of new music has been released and today is National One-Hit-Wonder Day (stay tuned for more on that). With the flood of new tunes, it is hard to pick what to listen to first. One album I have been anxiously awaiting is CHVRCHES debut full length, The Bones of What You Believe. I have had the album on repeat since it dropped, and I still can’t get enough.
This highly anticipated album is the first full length for the Scottish band. Since the release of their EP earlier this year, the band has been gaining rapid popularity among indie music lovers worldwide. The album is diverse, with up-tempo dance sentiments, as well other tracks mixed in with some slower beats . And you can definitely expect the synth-pop sound we all have come to love from them all over the place. I would go so far as to say that this might be one of my favorite albums of the year? Yep.
