Meet team CalVegas. We are comprised of energy, great hair, fierce dance moves, and a whole lot of sass. We come equipped with glitter and “that’s what she said” jokes. We live to laugh and love, so open up those arms of yours because here we come.

We are beginning our 7th week on the road, and this tour has surpassed our wildest imaginations. Southern California has treated us so well and spoiled us with loads of sunshine and radiant beauties. We are so excited to embark on Las Vegas for the week leading up to APRIL 20th, and for all you Las Vegas peeps, get ready for a whole lot of crazy.

Shall we introduce ourselves? Well, the team has found a healthy balance between division and union. Meet the man cave (Logan and Gabriel). There inabillity to be apart draws a fine line between cute and gross. They have sanctioned off the back bench of the van as the “man cave” and it wasn’t until about a week ago that the girls received a formal invititation. Now, meet the chicken coup (Chelsey, Courtney and Martha). Chelsey a.k.a Captain can usually be found climbing the nearest tree, Courtney a.k.a bush baby likes to dance when no ones looking and Martha a.k.a Martha Mama has a running list of all the unintentional offensive things people say in regards to her homeland, Mexico.

Our van collects new memorabilia by the week. Sparkle our unicorn mascot, Paco the Flamingo, Pork the stolen stuffed pig head, and Enrique the squirrel who’s original purpose was a dog chew toy are just a few of the friends who inhabit our van. Chelsey has taken it upon herself to beat Logan and/or Gabriel in a wrestling match before the end of tour. So far this has resulted in her being tied up by a seat belt in the man cave. Don’t worry. She’s determined and stops at nothing. Courtney and Martha are fiercer and stronger than they look and are determined to out muscle the boys. They are dedicated and increase their bin lift load daily. Courtney was spotted carrying 3 bins yesterday and Martha refuses to allow for help when she is carrying our beastly display bin. To say that the boys are hysterical is an understatement. Between Gabriel’s “yee-haw” noises during every rap jam out session, and Logan’s lack of filter, the team is never short on laughter.

As a team we have enough “isms” to sparkle up a novel and we continue to learn more about eachother daily. For example: Martha thinks she’s the next squirrel whisperer (almost resulted in rabies), Courtney likes to conveniently leave items behind (the cell phone has been retrieved, the sleeping bag is still M.I.A.), Gabriel is the best at soccer and Logan is not, and Chelsey has taken it upon herself to explain American slang/customs to Gabriel, especially the ones less than appropriate for honorable mention.

Our advice to you: take chances, fight the fierce fight, and don’t be afraid to make some noise.

“Throw some glitter. Make it rain. CalVegas loves you. Bang-a-rang.”
