It’s election day in the United States and in a time where pop culture rules and politics can be easily overlooked, an apathetic youth culture can seem like an actual thing. But knowing the strength of the youth’s voice (take note of IC’s history) and its ability to change the game, today’s youth could have the greatest possibility of changing the world.

Taking a cue from the many influential factors in young voters lives, Duncan Sullivan captured the faces of the youth ready to take stance in the political world and have their voice heard on election day. As a student living in Amherst, Massachusetts, an area where five colleges are located within a few miles of each other, Duncan grabbed his camera in an effort to find out what motivates students to be politically informed. He visited each college and interviewed students actively involved in partisan political organizations and found the array of influences youth take into account on November 6th.
