We have another performer for you to familiarize yourself with before November 17th’s event MOVE:DC, and it’s a good one.

The Very Best, a band featuring members from all over the world, are known for their hugely dancey sounds with African beats. They will be joining DJs The Jane Doze and dancers The LXD, iLLUMINATE, and NonStop during the Global Dance Night part of the event – the celebratory finale to the day.

That alone is enough, but we are happy to also be able to release a special acoustic video from the band – their first ever stripped performance. The group walked over to Balboa Park from our office in San Diego to perform a track from their album MTMTMK called “Kondaine,” a definitive highlight off the record. The video is shot on Super 8 film, so that’s pretty special as well.

Do not be deceived by the “cozy” acoustic video – they will severely bring the upbeat heat during their set. Prepare for that.
