The countdown is on. There are three days until the start of the largest, most complicated event Invisible Children has ever conducted, and we’re bringing the heat from every department.

The Movement Department is taking tallies for everyone who confirms they’ll be at MOVE:DC

Our Movement department is still bringing in new registrants through phone calls, emails, and carrier pigeons.

One of our graphic design interns, Megan, works on banners and posters for the event

Our Art department has been working tirelessly on posters, banners, videos – you name it, they’re designing it.

The head of our Communications department, Noelle, is organizing any and all content

Half of our Communications department has already hit Washington DC preparing for the continuous content we’ll be pushing out to the world over the weekend.

One of our Movement interns, Caleb, rings the infamous gong after confirming more people are heading to MOVE:DC

Our Artist Relations department (aka Music Dept) has been plugging hard to get the best of the best to perform at our Global Dance Night on Saturday night (cough cough, the Jane Doze will be there.) Our Engagement department (aka customer service extraordinaires) have joined our Movement department to ensure that any and every person attending MOVE:DC is getting what they need. Our booking manager, Talitha Baker, has been working day in and day out to make sure all of the staff, assistant, interns, and Roadies have their flights, hotels, transportation, and to-do lists in place so everything will run smoothly (Talitha is a superstar, and anyone who has the honor to meet her this weekend should get a photo and autograph. Just saying.)

For those of you hanging out with us this weekend, we are more than excited to see you guys. For those of you who have yet to register, there is still plenty of time.
