What’s better than the holidays? Not much. Except a matching campaign during the holidays.
An Invisible Children supporter recently donated $25,000 to our Come Home for the Holidays campaign. I know, we’re floored too. So for the next 12 days we are matching all donations up to $25,000 in the hopes of increasing the impact of our protection programs in central Africa.
The ultimate goal of our holiday campaign is to raise $100,000 for programs we have in place to protect civilians and encourage current members of the LRA to surrender and return home. Every penny donated this December will go towards funding 2,500 square kilometers of added FM radio coverage, 100,000 defection fliers, and 2 regional office staff that will focus on our FM and defection flier projects.
Donate any amount between December 11 and December 23 and it will be matched, doubling your total impact. The holidays are for bringing people together, and that is precisely what we’re going to do.
