Jon Contino is one of those stand-out guys. If you don’t recognize the name, you’re sure to recognize his work.
From working for Nike to designing lettering on a series of William Faulkner novels to owning his own clothing company, Jon’s work is highly sought after.
He’s also responsible for bringing the Americana style into main stream – all things anchors, antique looking American flags, and hand drawn lettering mixed with nostalgia.
Here in the office, most of our designers draw a lot of inspiration from his aesthetic.
We came in touch with Jon through one of our favorite bands, Thrice. He designed their farewell tour poster. The print was so cool, we couldn’t help but ask him to do one for us.
Donating his services, Jon designed our Holiday Benefit show print, complete with FM radio towers encased in a snow globe. It’s just a small reminder that all the funds from sales of the tickets and this print will go directly towards our Come Home for the Holidays campaign.
If you’re lucky enough to score tickets to this weekend’s show, get there early. The first 50 through the door will receive one of these special limited edition prints.
But until this weekend, watch this video below.
