[Invisible Children Music: We firmly believe that music has a necessary role in giving social movements tremendous amounts of momentum. It is a universal language, and at Invisible Children, it’s important for us to be a part of that language.]
Somehow, 2012 is coming to an end. It feels like the year just began – at the Invisible Children office, it’s been kinda hectic these past twelve months. As the Artist Relations Department ends the year, we’re looking back on the music released during the madness that was KONY 2012. While we might have been a bit busy at times to say it, 2012 did well with music. Really well.
We asked every member of the department (and Jed) to list their five favorite albums, singles, and videos of the year. It’s a bit of a variety, as getting a consensus from us five is generally quite bleak.
Check the links to discover songs you haven’t heard or re-watch your favorite videos.
As always, follow us on Twitter @invisible_music for constant updates from the department on what we’re doing and what we’re into.
