The Mary Onettes are a “dream pop” band from Sweden. (Genre names have become some Mad Libs of words at this point, yeah?) They are about to release their third record – titled the same as this recently-shared cut.
“Hit The Waves” has the now standard sound of The Mary Onettes, which is huge verses and even larger, jamming choruses that beg to be featured on any roadtrip or breakup mix.
