Our anticipation for new music from this woman has been overflowing lately, so today is coming as a huge sigh of relief. We wrote about her as one of the reasons we were excited for 2013, and, luckily, the track she’s offering up off her upcoming full-length is worth the wait. It’s melodic, layered, poppy, and brassy. Pretty much ideal music, really.
“Brainwash” will be featured on Cillie’s forthcoming debut Happy Valley, which is guaranteed to provide even more dynamic music worth our time.
