Lacor Secondary School, one of the 11 partner schools in Invisible Children’s Schools for Schools program, recently got a new addition. Construction has been completed on a two-classroom block that can accommodate 120 students. The ribbons were cut and the keys handed over during a festive celebration on a sunny day in Gulu (but more on that later!)

Since 2006, the Schools for Schools program has completed 216 construction or refurbishment projects. “I’m very proud of the partnerships we’ve built with schools,” Program Officer Jennifer Labuke, who is from Gulu, says. “We’ve built a lot of trust.”
