When a group describes their sound as “electro brass,” they have our attention. Thus, Benin City have our eye(s).
They’re a group coming out of London, preparing to release their first album Fires in the Park. The current single is the odd/yet amazing “My Love,” which is some sort of rap/spoken word crescendo with – wait for a it – a joyous brass section.
The video is a perfect visual interpretation of the song – building, trippy, and bright. We’re into it all. We have heavy expectations for more left-field magic from this group.
