Let’s cut to the chase. Here is our newest mix of songs we urge everyone we know to listen to. They’re the ones soundtracking our work days gearing up for 2013 Fourth Estate Summit – that’s coming up soon, yeah?

Launch all of our previous mixes on our Soundcloud [HERE]. Make it a priority to support the artists you’re into. It’s a tough time to make art, and we need to keep encouraging the real artists out there.

01. MIGUEL + JESSIE WARE – “Adorn” :: Now, “Adorn” has been around for a while. A good while because we are absolutely infatuated with it. Miguel’s album is classic R&B and one of the freshest in years. This new version, though, is heavenly. Jessie Ware is our top favorite female in the game right now, and her harmonies lift this track up. I’ve honestly kept it on loop all day.

02. DAN CROLL – “In/Out” :: We’ve been waiting for new music from this man for a minute, and the drought finally ended this past week when he released two new tracks – including his new single. It’s a peppy tune. His debut album is fixing to be one of the most exciting of the year.

03. REGINA SPEKTOR – “You’ve Got Time” :: Good to have this lady back, here singing the theme to the new Netflix series Orange is the New Black.

04. ELLI INGRAM – “Poetic Justice (Retrial)” :: Great neo-soul on this one from this new British songstress.

05. FRYARS – “Cool Like Me” :: A glitzy summer tune from this buzzy artist.

06. CHARLOTTE CHURCH – “I Can Dream” :: The former opera/fluff-pop star is reinventing herself with every song she releases. This is her newest offering, and it’s all electro-Kate Bush. I have such respect for her because she is changing it up at every opportunity.

07. VV BROWN – “Samson (Dedmoon & Diagrams Remix)” :: “Shark In The Water” singer is switching it up with her newer material. Her latest single is the dark, edgy “Samson,” and this remix takes the best bits and gives them a further shining.
