Bear Mountain has been on our radar for a while now, and we were so excited when the opportunity came up to have them play at our office back in May. We were introduced to them by one of our dear friends and co-workers, Mercy, who is in the International Programs department here at Invisible Children. Having just released a new album XO, they graciously came down to our humble office space and played an incredible acoustic set in the alley next to the office.
With people of the local population trickling in and requesting Beatles songs, the short set turned into a little block party. The guys later signed autographs for some of our young neighbors, proving that not only are they great musicians, but they’re incredible human beings as well.
