On the way south from their home in Seattle, the Kris Orlowski and his band was kind enough to stop by Invisible Children’s Headquarters before their show with Gregory Alan Isakov. As a continuation of our ‘Almost Live’ Series, we were able to capture their intimate acoustic cover of the iconic Cyndi Lauper tune called “Time After Time.” The timbre of Kris’ vocals add an entirely new dynamic to the song, that quite possibly everyone in the world knows and loves?
Tomorrow [7PM EST] is actually the last day of their Pledge Music Campaign, in which the band has decided to donate 5% of the proceeds raised to fund their newest record to Invisible Children’s programs. This is a perfect example of why we engage and work with musicians we love and respect and why we get excited to support people who are supporting people. #runon
