University students from the Legacy Scholarship Program recently came together for a day-long workshop day in Gulu. The workshop’s theme was “Education, a tool for personal and societal transformation.” The students spent the day hearing from ICU staff and inspirational speakers, discussing their experience at LSP scholars and learning about updates to the program.
“I think it’s really been a great day. For the first time, students have been given the chance to organize, give suggestions and administer the program of the meeting,” James, one of the event’s emcees, said. James is in his final year of university and is studying public administration and management.
