Arcade Fire is both something video gamers fear and the creators of yet another killer track.
(If you didn’t get that joke it’s alright, just keep reading on, and if you did, I am so sorry I couldn’t help myself).
The group just released a lyric video for their song “Afterlife” off of their upcoming album “Reflektor” (which drops October 29th) and I can get into it. After doing some research (scrolling through youtube comments and using google) I found that the video playing behind the lyrics is an old Brazilian film called “Orfeo Negro”. The film’s scenes beautifully match the lyrics and tone of the song, and I can’t wait to experience the rest of the album.
