Invisible Children supporters know a little something about giving a damn about the world. And when they get together in a confined space, it’s safe to say their A-game empathy successfully addresses solutions to global issues (see: Fourth Estate Summit).
The good news: We’re hosting our 2014 Fourth Estate Summit this August and applications are currently being accepted.
Additional good news: If you’re jonesing to make a difference in the world before August, President Bill Clinton would love to help you with that.
The Clinton Global Initiative University (CGI U) – which is the lovechild of the Clinton Global Initiative – hosts an annual meeting where students, youth organizations, topic experts, and celebrities come together to discuss and develop innovative solutions to pressing global challenges (among them: education, the environment, public health, and human rights). This year’s meeting will take place at Arizona State University in Phoenix from March 21-23, 2014. The deadline to apply is January 17th.
Their driving philosophy is that anyone, anywhere can make a difference through a commitment to action. We couldn’t agree more. Learn more about applying to CGI U (or Fourth Estate Summit for that matter) and get involved in all the world changing fun.
